Senior Engineer, Compliance
The scope of this role is to provide intermediate expertise in compliance activities based on the regulations and specifications and to meet the customer requirements regarding compliances in semi dry pump and integrated systems businesses.
The individual’s responsibilities will include, though not be limited to, all of the following:
1) Support compliance strategy for the successful new product development and maintenance of legacy products
2) Track compliance schedule and resource for each project
3) Compile standard compliance reports and carry out some of validation and development tests
4) Progress compliance tasks as an integrated part of a project team, to ensure the completion to agreed timescales
5) Coordinate compliance activities to get third party certificate
- Bachelor degree and above in Engineering required (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent)
- Certificate of Engineer General Machinery, Engineer Electricity or equivalent by HRD Korea preferred
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as Compliance Engineer with strong engineering background
- Work experience in the reccognized 3rd-party certification body is prepered
- Understanding of various compliance, legislation and industrial standards (SEMI, CE, NRTL, KS, IEC, EN, UL, CSA, UKCA)
- Samsung Common Spec and Hynix Essencials (incl. TSMC, ASML, Intel)
- EU Directives, EN61010-1, EN1012-2, RoHS, REECH, WEEE, ISTA
- Fundamental knowledge on circuit analysis, structural and explosion-proof design
- Skills on measuring and test equipment system
- Technical Construction Files (TCF) for Product Safety Checklist (PSCL) and 3rd party certificate
- Good command of spoken and written English (technical English) desirable
- Good Problem solving skills
- Technical documentation writing skills
